“The major waves of teach-ins of the past 50 years have gone beyond the choir to inspire large numbers of people to expand their sense of the necessary and the possible.”
- Ben Manski, president, Liberty Tree on “The Teach-In Tradition” for The Next System Project

This Spring, take action to change the system by joining a coalition of inspired student, labor, faculty and community organizations for a first wave of Next System Teach-Ins from Earth Day on April 22 to May Day on May 1.

Liberty Tree’s Global Climate Convergence was launched with a successful Earth Day to May Day (ED2MD) Campaign in 2014, connecting the dots between social justice movements and uniting those working on climate democracy efforts with workers’ rights organizers and labor activists.

The GCC’s first annual “10 Days to Change Course” during ED2MD 2014 was a call for celebrations, marches, film screenings, potlucks, protests, teach-ins and other creative community events illustrating the need for and proposing real system change, with over 200 actions across 50 cities. This year, we invite you to take part in ED2MD by participating in the Next System Teach-Ins! The time is now to sign up for a session near you or volunteer to host a teach-in.
